Motorcycle Accident Analysis: Phase 2
As the outcome of the macro-analysis of motorcycle crashes, TARC has identified three types of collision pattern encapsulating most of the motorcycle accident cases in Thailand and requiring further in-depth study to determine the countervailing measures. They are: rear-end crashes, single vehicle crashes, and motorcycle crashes at intersection. It is therefore important to conduct micro in-depth study of motorcycle crashes in the proposed collision patterns that will provide a better understanding of the causes of these crash patterns. In this project, TARC plans to conduct a comprehensive, in-depth motorcycle crash causation study using the common international methodology for in-depth motorcycle crash investigation and reconstruction.
